Ocean City now offer's horseback riding on the beach during winter, early spring
Permit applications are now available to persons wishing to ride horses on Ocean City's beach.  Applications can be obtained from the City Clerk's Office in City Hall at 301 Baltimore Avenue or online at www.oceancitymd.gov.  The cost is $20. for a single day permit and $50 for a seasonal permit.  Horseback riding will be allowed on the beach beginning at 27th Street and extending south to the Inlet jetty between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.  November 1 to March 30.  Phone - 800-626-2326

US NAVY BLUE ANGELS HEADLINE O.C. AIR SHOW

Celebrating its sixth year, the Ocean City Air Show is back with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels making their inaugural appearance in Ocean City.  Additional performers will be announced when available.  The show will be vixible along the entire length of the Boadwalk, creating an inspiring experience for visitor while they enjoy the resort's beaches and attractions.  Spectators can see the show free of cvharge, however, VIP seating is available for those who want to be front and center.  Saturday and Sunday 12 noon - 4 p.m.  Show Center - 16th Street and Boardwalk.

Celebrate the nation's symbol!  Ocean  City will hold a special Flag Day ceremony at 12 noon on Sunday, June 9, 2012 at the opening of the O.C. Air Show.  The US. Navy Seals Jump Team will fly the National Colors to the drop zone in the vicinity of 16th Street on the Bbeach.  Once on the ground, the team will present the U.S. Flag to one of the country's veterans.

Free movies on the beach for the family every Wednesday night (June 5 - August 28) at 8:30 p.m. at the Carousel Resort Hotel, 118th Street Oceanfront

Additionally, every Monday and Friday evening (June 24 - Aug 9) a movie on the beach with our 16 foot projector at 27th street. Each week a general audience movie is presented free of charge. Bring a blanket and enjoy the night beside the ocean. Movie starts around 8:30 p.m.

On Thursday evenings (July 11 - August 29) yo may enjoy movies on the beach at the Princess Royale at 91st St. Movie starts around 8:30 p.m. Special showing on July 2. No movie will be shown on July 4.
